Saturday in Hot Springs

This morning while Jim was on the mountain Beau and I decided to go exploring around town. I saw a little pebble path that looked like it went into the woods so we decided to follow it. And we came upon a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. It was called the Mountain Magnolia Inn and Retreat. It was a big southern style mansion that was refurbished. The grounds were gorgeous. There was a big porch that ran around the building too. It was a nice find. Then we walked back down the other side of the dirt road that led into town. We strolled through town and then back to the cottage. When Jim came back from his hike we took him to see the Inn. Beau wasn't as excited making the trip the second time but he was a good sport about it. The town really isn't that big so it didn't tax the old hound too much. When we were walking in town this morning someone even said now that is an old hound dog just like in the Elvis song. He does get a lot of attention everywhere we go. And the sun is out. It is a pleasant Saturday on the trail. We are going out on the deck to read for a while until it's time to go to the local pub for a pint and dinner. They have a nice Carolina Blond that is quite good here.
