We are in North Carolina

We made it to North Carolina. We are in a cabin that is right along side of a creek. There are lots of people tubing down the creek. I kind of think the water might be a wee bit chilly. We may try it out after Jim's hike tomorrow. We'll see. I dipped my hand in the creek and it didn't seem too cold but it wasn't any where near warm.

It is very pretty here. The last part of the drive was beside a river with rafters and kayaks on it. It looked like fun. Tomorrow's hike is 12 miles so Jim should have another fun day. I am not sure yet what Beau and I will do. We are in Bryson City and it is very small and very rural. It may be another hang at the campsite day.

So we are tucked in safe for another day. I am posting a picture of our last campsite. We are in a cabin now. It is about the size of my bedroom at home and the bathroom is about the size of my closet. But it's a step up from the van and all we really need it for is to sleep and shower. We are spending most of our time outdoors. We just went for a walk in the woods with Beau. Now he is curled up on his bed sleeping.
